The audiovisual and spatial installation LONELINESS was created in 2016 on behalf of the Flow Foundation and research agency SAMR, in collaboration with Gauthier Productions. As loneliness is a broad and subjective phenomenon, the installation focuses on loneliness among the elderly. Visitors travel in a matter of minutes from a fulfilled and rich social life to a life of isolation and loneliness. The installation consists of a video presentation with soundscape and a spatial installation that changes in sync with the image and sound.

Upon leaving the installation, the audience is asked to leave the feeling evoked on a post-it in the space.
