Everyone wants to be happy and seen, regardless of their age, nationality, skin color, religious or gender beliefs because we are all humans first and foremost. However, wars, conflicts, violence, ideological differences or a lack of security make one’s search for happiness a reason to challenge that of the other. Searching for happiness can suddenly become a justification for oppression, torture, and persecution, resulting in people fleeing as refugees. Instead of finding happiness, they become the enemy.
How much can a human being endure before breaking? How heavy can the burden be before they scream their despair? Who still sees the human being: naked and with nothing to hide? Because they are ultimately just like you, searching for a happy life.
