CONCRE(E)T(E)

The performance “CONCRE(E)T(E)” explores the path to happiness and raises questions such as “what does your happiness look like?”, “what is holding you back on your path to happiness?” and “do you let obstacles block your way?”. “CONCRE(E)T(E)” refers to the English word for concrete: cold, hard, immovable and as heavy as concrete, but it also stands for concrete: clear, palpable and real. The “concrete” blocks in the performance are obstacles on the road to happiness. The audience is part of the performance, confronting them with the fact that their own search for happiness affects that of others.

“CONCRE(E)T(E)” was created in 2018 on behalf of Erwin Hagen, departing director of MeanderOmnium.
